CWA LOCAL 2204 MEMBERS AT VA RELAY CENTER GET ONE YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION

We were just informed that  AT&T has finalized the negotiation of a 1 year extension to the VA Relay contract with the VA Department of Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  We will continue to lobby and  negotiate to keep the language in place in the VA Budget and to keep the center open to provide the quality of service to the deaf community that it has become so well known for.

Thanks to everyone for all their help in the first round of this fight.  As we hear from the Governor’s office once the new budget is completed we will update everyone where we head next.
